Business owner/shareholder visa
Foreign nationals who have invested in an existing Colombian business at least

Work visa
Foreigners that have a job offer or an employment contract with a Colombian
company that is willing for sponsor the visa application.
This visa can be granted for up to 3 years and after holding this type of visa for 5
years, you can apply for a Colombian resident visa.
Common law partnership
Foreign nationals who are in a stable, long-term relationship with a Colombian
citizen but are not legally married. This visa is intented for couples who have lived together in a relationship akin to marriage and can demonstrate their commitment through a common law partnership.

Retirement visa
Foreigners that receive a stable monthly pension, wheter from a government or a
private fund, amounting to at least 3 Colombian minimum wages ($4.270.500 COP or around $990 USD* for 2025).

Andean migrant visa
Citizens of countries that are parto f the Andean Migration Statute, who wish to live and work legally in Colombia.
This visa is granted only once and has a validity of up to two (2) years. After
completing this period as a visa holder, you can apply for a Colombia resident visa.
