Specific Requirements
1. Authentic copy of the public deed, judicial ruling, conciliation act, or validity certificate (as applicable), issued no more than three (3) months prior to the visa application, declaring the existence of the common-law partnership. The formalization date of the document supporting the common-law partnership must be more than one (1) year old at the time of the visa application.
2. Letter signed by the Colombian permanent partner, requesting the visa for their foreign partner, stating that they maintain a unique, constant, enduring, and stable cohabitation.
3. Special power of attorney granted to the foreigner to apply for the visa, with recognition of content and signature before a notary or Colombian consul.
4. Certificate of migration movements of both the foreign applicant and their
Colombian permanent partner, issued by the Special Administrative Unit for
Migration Colombia.
